Overflight

We invite you to get to know the land of the End of the World from a totally different perspective, which allows you to experience flying.

* Plane overflight of 15 minutes:

We begin the excursion inside the old airport of the City of Ushuaia, where the Aeroclub is located. Upon arrival, you are received by one of our pilots who gives you all the information prior to the flight. We ascend to an average altitude of approximately 450 meters. As we ascend, we cross the Bay of Ushuaia towards Playa Larga. From there, we start a tour that includes:

- Industrial Park
- Ushuaia city center
- Port
- Glaciar Martial
- Residential sector to the west of the city
- Mount Susana


* Plane overflight of 30 minutes:

We leave the city behind to head for the Tierra del Fuego National Park. On the way there, you can observe the Golondrina Bay, the Pipo River Valley, the La Oveja Canyon and Mount Susana. Once in the Park, we can see, among others, the different points of interest such as Ensenada Bay, Lapataia Bay, Redonda Island, Estorbo Island, Roca lake, Negra Lagoon and Verde Lagoon.

We continue flying west to the international border with Chile at Milestone XXVI, where you can see the Yendegaia Bay with its imposing glacier, located in Chilean territory. Then, we fly over the Beagle Channel heading east, from where you have beautiful views of the imposing Chilean Hoste Island, the Murray Channel, Navarino Island and the Port of Navarino.

In addition, during this journey you can see the islets that make up the Bridges Islands, contemplating the Malvinas Islands International Airport, the Island of the Wolves, the Island of the Birds, and the Les Eclaireurs Lighthouse. Finally, returning to Ushuaia Bay, our flight takes us to Estancia Túnel, where we get some of the best views of the city and then land at the Old Airport.

* Helicopter overflight of 15 minutes:

Choose to fly over Ushuaia by helicopter, to take you the most beautiful panoramic views of the region. During the walk, we visit the following points:

- The Andes Mountains
- The Martial Glacier
- Mount Five Brothers
- Mount Olivia

In addition to the beautiful tour that we make through nature, we also fly over the city center, being able to see representative points such as the Presidio, the local port, and the typical Fuegian constructions.


* Helicopter overflight of 30 minutes:

We begin flying over the Ushuaia bay and then enter the Olivia River Valley, from where we appreciate the impressive Mount Olivia and the characteristic Mount Five Brothers. We continue the tour heading to the Carbajal Valley, with its particular composition of peat formed over thousands of years, to later give rise to one of the most beautiful places that Tierra del Fuego has to offer: Esmeralda Lagoon; a dazzling mirror of water that has a unique color.

Following the flight, you can observe winter activity centers, among which Cerro Castor stands out, the southernmost ski center in the world. Once we have crossed the Valley of the Encajonado River, we make a stop to contemplate the incredible landscape that surrounds us and to be able to capture in photos the surprising views that we have in front of us. Before taking off again to return to Ushuaia, we make a toast with champagne, to end the tour.
